          To integrate government efforts with Non-Government Organizations, People’s Organizations, and Private Sector participation towards achieving a well-balanced socio-economic growth and welfare.

Vision Statement

          Ozamiz City envisions to develop into a center for trade and commerce, agri-based industries, eco-tourism and education; as well as center for transportation and communications in Northwestern Mindanao.

          The visualized multi-sectoral transformation and development shall be
anchored on the context of sustainable level of growth and at the same time on
ecological-friendly and healthy environment, economically sound, socially just
and equitable, politically empowering, and gender-sensitive, built on Filipino
values and culture, which shall rest upon strong institutional foundations.

          The attainment of the vision calls for the full utilization of its
existing natural and human resource endowments in a sustainable manner towards
creating an atmosphere for a more just and equitable sharing of the fruits of development.
